Changed by truth!

I have been thinking a little about truth this past week. I have to say its been a breath of fresh air. I mean Jesus said that the truth will set you free. That freedom should be a Christian's joy. Its their freedom in Christ that should shine a light in and through this dark world. Thinking that as a Christian, I am light in the Lord. My purpose while I sojourner here on earth is to live truth. Paul said it best, "To live is Christ!"

All that I am is Christ. He is my Way, my Truth, and my Life. I am just a sinner in a box ready to jump out and take flight against all that is false. The more truth I get in me, the more I am able to live it out. I started this journey a little over 4 years ago. Least to say is my life has never been the same. Its exciting to look back over my Christian life and see all that the Lord has done and is continuing to do in my life. "Great is Thy faithfulness, great is Thy faithfulness. Morning by morning new mercies I have seen!"

Everyday I will left my voice,
In praise to my King I will rejoice.
The One who sits on the throne is King,
He is the reason I have a new life to sing.
He sits at the right hand as Lord,
every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord!

I mean do you have that in your heart? If your with me then let it come out! We should be full of praise and worship for our King. Jesus Christ has done so much for us. He has chosen to reveal Himself to us. Praise the Lord. The good news of the gospel this sinner embraced, to be a child of the King this sinner graced! Praise the Lord.

When a sinner has received God's truth, you can know for certain they walk away a different person. Now the sinner loves the Truth, fights for Truth, Gives the Truth, is all about the Truth. The transformation of a sinner into a saint is more radical then creation itself. Its a life that will flow with love for others. I have a deep heart for the God's people, and all those that are lost in this world. There is something in me that wants to give away God's gift of the gospel. I mean it is a free gift! I didn't do anything to deserve this gift, and they didn't either. God is using me to get His Truth out. How about yourself?

How are you getting the Truth out to others, or do you not have any Truth in you to get out?

The Truth was never meant to be hidden. Jesus told us how we should look if the Truth has changed us: "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Be radical in the way you live. Make sure others know your living for Truth!

Get the Truth, Live the Truth, and Give the Truth away!
